It worked I,m well away now
This week I have been sorting out the strawbs. I have been really brutal ripping out plants that were still fruiting ,in september!! I was delighted to see a lizard scuttling away 1st I,v ever seen in the wild. Today Ian went up with me and we dug up the sweetcorn patch, I,v had loads off them this year thanks to plastic bottles. here is a pic of them protecting the cobbs

Great idea will try it. Any bottles...tonic water or bigger? Rats got all of my cobs last year.
