Yesterday we put the 1st early potatoes in (Accent)had a bit of a "discussion"mmm being polite here,about the depth they should go in at ,think somebody thought he was digging a trench for drains!
All the stuff in the greenhouse seemed to have survived the cold snape so far, I have electric heater in there but leave it on frostguard, as a precaution against frost and slugs I put a plastic lid on vulnerable seedlings

I don't believe it! You've had snow in Yate, someone else has shown it settled in Oxford. We've just had a couple of flakes here in Chippenham :(
Well - we didn't escape in northern Brittany either!! Very impressed with all your sowings of veg - sorry it's been a while since I last visited - it's a busy old time of year when you've got a gardening business! Miranda
We had snow in Dorset at the same time - and got very excited about it!
